Christmas at Cheshire Boutique Bathhouse

If you’re staying with us at Cheshire Boutique Bathhouse, you’re just steps away from some wonderful festive events in Nantwich. Here are five things we think you’ll love:

1. Nantwich Christmas Lights

Just a few hundred yards from your doorstep, Nantwich’s Christmas light switch on is the perfect place to pick up unique gifts from local stalls, enjoy some mulled wine and enjoy the beautiful lights that shine throughout the town. It’s small, but full of charm and a great way to get into the festive spirit!

2. Breakfast with Santa at The Sacred Orchard

For a festive family outing, head just 2 miles down the road to The Sacred Orchard on December 21st, where the little ones can enjoy breakfast with Santa himself. Always a hit for families staying with us!

3. Blakemere Village’s Magical Woodland

Located 16 miles from the Bathhouse, Blakemere Village offers a magical illuminated woodland walk. It’s a lovely way to spend a chilly evening, all wrapped up and surrounded by twinkling lights.

4. Nantwich Christmas Tree Festival

This local gem takes place in the heart of Nantwich and is a wonderful way to get into the holiday spirit. The Christmas Tree Festival at St. Mary’s Church features over 50 beautifully decorated trees, each crafted by various community groups. It’s only £3 to attend and a great way to kick off the season whilst supporting a great charity.

5. Tatton Park Christmas Fair

Tatton Park, about 30 miles from Nantwich, offers one of the best Christmas fairs in Cheshire, all topped with a stunning estate backdrop. If you fancy a bit of a drive, it’s well worth it for some high-end Christmas shopping.

6. Chester Christmas Markets

Chester’s Christmas Markets are usually a big draw, and they’re just down the road! It’s all about wandering around with a mulled wine in hand, picking up unique gifts, and soaking up

the Christmas vibe. The atmosphere is so warm and welcoming; you really feel like you’re part of the community here!

7. Alderford Lake Christmas Wonderland

Alderford Lake is just a stone’s throw from both the Barns and the Bathhouse, and it’s an absolute must-visit at Christmas. The whole place turns into a winter wonderland, complete with ice-skating, cosy food stalls, and all the twinkling lights you can imagine. It’s perfect for a festive family day out or a romantic evening stroll!
